The 2010 Randolph Caldecott Medal Winners

This is my third post in a series featuring 2010 award winning children's books. The first two posts featured the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award Winners and the 2010 John Newbery Medal Winners.

Today's featured award is the Randolph Caldecott Medal. The Caldecott medal is given to distinquished picture books and their illustrator by the Association of Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Assocation.

The 2010 Randolph Caldecott Medal Winner is "The Lion & the Mouse", illustrated and written by Jerry Pinkney



The 2010 Randolph Caldecott Medal Honors books are

"All the World", illustrated by Marla Frazee
"Red Sings from Treetops: A Year in Colors" illustrated by Pamela Zagarenski
